On the northern slopes of the Pentadaktylos Mountains at Gomaristra, 2.2 miles (3.5km) southeast of Lapethos (Kyrenia district) at 580m a.s.l. overlooking the north coast.
Description: The dome-hall (?) structure with semi-circular apse and round arches is now in a ruinous state and only traces of its fresco decoration and apsidal narthex survive [MKE 11,133; Papageorgiou (1982b) 444].
Dating: A likely 12th-century date has been proposed on account of the style of the fresco decoration and the architecture [MKE 11, 133; Papageorgiou (1982b) 444]; Procopiou suggests a date in the second quarter of the 12th century [Procopiou (2006a) 136].
